MINISTRY

One of the words in the church that is often misunderstood is this one:
ministry.
A simple definition to clarify.
min·is·try
The act of serving; ministration.
One that serves as a means; an instrumentality.
Believing without serving makes believing of little to no real value. Believing that Jesus is Lord may save your soul, but if you don't share it then it may not save anyone else's. Serving God requires serving others. Christians who do not find ways to serve others are ultimately unhappy, self-righteous, and guilty of wasting their lives. Serving deosn't mean slavery to others and it doesn't mean inferiority. It means investment in the future of the kingdom of God.
