Requiet in Pacem, John Paul II
Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend you servant John Paul. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech You, a sheep of Your own fold, a lamb of Your own flock, a sinner of Your own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of Your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlastinig peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light.
Christ has opened the kingdom of heaven to all who believe in his Name, saying, Come, O blessed of my Father; inherit the kingdom prepared for you!
Into Paradise may the angels lead you. At your coming may the martyrs receive you, and bring you into the holy city of the New Jerusalem.
Fidelium animae † per misericordiam Dei requiescant in pace
(May the souls † of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace)

I think one of the best things to remember about the Pope is what I heard Franklin Graham say about him. He said that when Billy Graham visited with John Paul II that he was a funny guy. He had a sense of humor. Perhaps it was this aspect of his personality that allowed him to connect with people so well.
